Miranda Leggett is an Oshkosh native who grew up swimming for the OSHY Dolphins, singing at St. Raphael’s, and participating in many, many theater and choral activities in her time at Oshkosh North High School. While completing her undergraduate experience at the Georgia Institute of Techonology, she became connected with the local Rotary club (Dunwoody) and ultimately pursued a scholarship as a Rotary Global Grant Scholar with a focus in Community Economic Development. Miranda is currently based in Edinburgh, Scotland, where she is in the process of completing the dissertation portion of her MSc in Global Strategy & Sustainability at the University of Edinburgh. She is excited to share her experiences as a Global Grant Scholar with the club.

The B&GC has been on a journey starting in 2019 with conversations with partners. After seeing a need to serve more kids and families a Capital Campaign began. Five phases make up the campaign consisting of remodeling, new construction, playground, community center and an additional gym. The B&GC serves 150 more kids per day and has 20+ partners serving not only the kids and families but kids and families throughout the Oshkosh community.
